King’s Cormorants Masters Swimming Club

Congratulations to all who did the ASA half hour swim, I hope you enjoyed it. Phil will post the results on the board, and will enter our teams into the postal competition.

NOW……are you interested in trying the BLDSA one hour competition? We will be organizing it at the end of February 2007 So your short term aim should be to be able to hold the pace that was so comfortable for half an hour.

Therefore… the January sessions will be set to enable you to do this, but still to keep your sprint ability. The schedules will focus on varying distances at a strong pace, with ever decreasing rest periods. Your job will be to see how to maintain the strong pace.

If you have any particular event next year, like the meet in the Isle of Wight (a very sociable weekend) in February, the long course meet in Crawley , a new South East region two day event, or Guernsey ( a MUST) please let me know. All training sessions can be adapted to suit special individual needs

I hope you have enjoyed this year’s training and competitions, and look forward to all the fun of 2007. Happy Christmas…………JANE
